Note:  All of our classes and labs are led by parent volunteers and meet every other Friday from September to March.  This is a tentative list and subject to change.

 2 years – K4
All Around the World:  A geography class where the students will “travel” to a different continent each week to learn about children who live there. The students will color, make crafts, eat food, and learn to locate each continent on a map.
Crafts: An hour of fun arts and crafts where students will practice basic art skills, learn fine motor development, and hear a story or song.
Gym: A fun time to get all the wiggles out and get the students moving. Students will learn about their heart beat, breathing, stretching and all the wide range of motions they can do as they jump, march, skip and play in the gym.

K5 – 2nd Grade

Spanish:  Taught by teachers who speak fluent Spanish and will give the students a strong foundation in conversational Spanish. They will learn proper pronunciation, verb conjugation, and general speaking techniques.

Magic School Bus Science: Students will spend the year adventuring on the Magic School Bus as they learn cool concepts about science like evaporation, germination, condensation, sunlight, color, germs and more.

History of the U.S. Holidays: Students will learn about some of the often overlooked holidays of the United States like St. Patrick’s Day, Groundhog Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, President’s Day, and Veteran’s Day.

During the second semester the students will learn about the big stage as they try their hand at acting. Students will perform a song or skit at the end of the year celebration.

STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics:  For students who aren’t interested in the choral and drama class we will be offering STEM.  The program will focus on an introductory level, educating children on the fields and occupations available in this group of studies. It will inspire children's curiosity leading them to ask questions and think in a constructive way as they learn to problem solve to find answers.

Countries and Cultures: Taught by a teacher who grew up in Europe. Students will spend the year “traveling” across the continent as they learn about different celebrations and traditions of European countries. They will experience, art, hands on activities, and food from all across Europe.

Cake Baking and Decorating and Scrapbooking:  Students who want something different than the Countries and Cultures class will be given the option to choose this class. This class will feature cake baking and decorating during the first semester and scrapbooking during the second semester. Students will learn basic kitchen skills along with an opportunity to express their creativity and then eat their yummy creations.

Because we are a group of like-minded followers of Christ, we ask our members to sign our statement of faith.

We believe the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.  The Bible, in its original autograph, is without error in whole and in part, including theological details.

God has existed from all eternity in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ was God come in human flesh being fully God and fully man, except without sin.

The central purpose of the coming of Jesus Christ was to pay the penalty for man's sin through His substitutionary death on the cross--the successful accomplishment of which was attested to by His subsequent visible, bodily resurrection.

Salvation is offered as a gift, free to the sinner.  This gift must be responded to in individual faith, not trusting in any personal works whatsoever, but in the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ alone.

God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society.  It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood, or adoption.  Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the Lord is one!  You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.  Deuteronomy 6:4-7
